Ouwerkerk (Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.) is a town in the southwest Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, Zeeland about 60 km south of Rotterdam.
In 2001, the town of Ouwerkerk had 454 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.15 km², and contained 202 residences.[1] The statistical area "Ouwerkerk", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 690.[2]
History
Ouwerkerk was a separate municipality until 1961, when it was merged with Duiveland.[3]
