Preethse is a 2000 psychological thriller Kannada film starring Upendra, Shivrajkumar and Sonali Bendre. The film was directed by D Rajendra Babu and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. The film is a remake of the 1993 Bollywood film Darr.[1] The film was dubbed in Telugu as Sadist.[2]

Production
it marks Sonali Bendre's debut Kannada film since Juhi Chawla only starred in Bollywood and the film also reunited Shivrajkumar and Upendra after Om. [3][4][5]
Box office
Preethse was the highest grossing Kannada film of the year 2000. It ran for 25 weeks and became Upendra's third consecutive blockbuster[6] after A and Upendra.
