The RENFE Class 470 is the name for a class of electric multiple unit trains built by CAF, Alstom and Siemens for regional services around Spain, under the brands Regionales and Media Distancia. It is an upgraded version of RENFE Class 440R units and it entered service in 2003.
Services
Class 470 units operate on MD (Media Distancia) or Regional Exprés regional rail services.
They also operate on Rodalies de Catalunya Rodalies de Catalunya regional rail services R14, R15 and R16.
