Rachel Wilde (born Rachel Wilson) is a British actress who played Nikki Spraggan in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.[1][2][3] As an eighteen-year-old visiting America, and before changing her name, she was charged by authorities for hurling a glass at a nightclub which struck another woman and she spent three months in jail.[4][5][6] Wilde struggled for years to become an actress and attended a theatre school in 2012.[7] She lobbied the soap opera's producers extensively to get a role in EastEnders.[7] While at the National British awards show, her choice of outfit was criticised for not being classy and for showing off too much flesh as well as her midsection,[8] leading to her being nominated to be on the "worst dressed list."[1][2][9]
