S. Semmalai
S. Semmalai is an Indian politician and incumbent member of the Parliament of India from Salem Constituency.[1] He has 1 charge related to Attempt to murder (IPC Section-307) and 1 charge related to Husband or relative of husband of a women subjecting her to cruelty (IPC Section-498A). [2]
Previously, he was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly from Taramangalam constituency as an Independent candidate in 1980 election, and as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in 1984 election.[3][4] He was elected from Omalur constituency as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in 2001 election.[5]
