Shawfair railway station is on the Borders Railway, a railway line reopened between Edinburgh and Tweedbank, just beyond Galashiels in Scotland.
There is a Monday-Saturday half-hourly service at this stop to Tweedbank. This station is to serve the new development of Shawfair, a settlement south-east of Edinburgh. The construction work was undertaken by BAM Nuttall opening on 6 September 2015.[1]
