Shenzhou 11 is a planned manned spaceflight of the Shenzhou program of China, scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2016. It will dock with the Tiangong-2 space laboratory after the latter's launch in the third quarter.[1]
Crew
The crew will consist of two astronauts instead of three, in order to support a longer-term mission.[2] The crew members have not been announced yet.
Mission
The mission's main objective is to dock with the Tiangong-2 space laboratory and gain experience from a 30-day residence.[2] The Tianzhou 1 cargo vehicle will also dock with the station to deliver supplies.
