Sherman Stanley Corbett (born November 3, 1962, in New Braunfels, Texas) is a retired professional baseball player who played three seasons for the California Angels of Major League Baseball.[1] He used to be the head baseball coach at the University of Texas at San Antonio.[2] He is now the Assistant to the Athletic Director at UTSA.[3]

He was nicknamed Sherbett during his baseball playing days. It was a play on his first and last name.[citation needed]. In 1988, Corbett led all major-leaguers with the highest GA/FS, or glasses area to face size ratio.
