Sitria (Hebrew: סתריה‎) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Shfela near Rehovot, it falls under the jurisdiction of Gezer Regional Council. In 2007, it had a population of 999.[1]

The moshav was founded on Lag BaOmer in 1949 by 95 families from Poland and Romania who had been interned in a detention camp in Cyprus. Before 1948, the Sitriya (السطرية) Bedouin tribe lived in the area.[2]

The moshav is built on the land of the Palestinian village of Abu al-Fadl, which was depopulated in 1948.[3][4]

Economy

Domaine Herzberg, a boutique winery, is located in Sitria.[5] The moshav also operates a riding stable, Susey Adama.[6]
