On Friday, 31 December 2004, Streats was merged into the daily news as a result of SPH & MediaCorp merging free-to-air terrestrial television & newspaper operations.

It was ceased publishing on Saturday, 1 January 2005 after 4-years 3-months was renamed to becomes TODAY a subsidiary of MediaCorp Press & member of MediaCorp a print media arm.

Streats is a Singaporean free-to-air terrestrial television channel of the SPH MediaWorks such: Channel i (it was ceased transmission on Saturday, 1 January 2005 at 01:30 SST) & Channel U (it was ceased transmission on Saturday, 1 January 2005 at 00:00 SST by the transferred to becomes MediaCorp TV a subsidiary of MediaCorp's management under the Channel U was officially opening ceremonies by the President of the Republic of Singapore) it was ceased transmission on Saturday, 1 January 2005 at 00:00 SST was switched to MediaCorp TV a member of MediaCorp.

Streats is a Singaporean free-to-air terrestrial television channel such: MediaCorp TV (5th Frequency & 8th Frequency), MediaCorp News (Channel NewsAsia) & MediaCorp TV12 (Central & Suria).

Later in 2001, SportCity to becomes CityTV & CityTV was ceased transmission in January 2002.
