Summer Bodhi Nicks, also known just as 'Summer Nicks',[1] is an Australian film director,[2][3] writer and actor. He is the Creative Director[4] and partner in Xeitgeist Entertainment Group, which has recently produced the highly anticipated biopic film 'The Man Who Knew Infinity'[5][6][7] as well as the spy thriller, 'Damascus Cover', starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Hurt.[8] In 2012–13 his film Seedlings won a string of prestigious accolades[9] including Best Film, People's Choice Award at the New York City International Film Festival and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Film Festival with his leading lady, Aamina Sheikh picking up the Best Actress Award twice. The film also won Best Film at the DC South Asian Film Festival in Washington. Summer was also nominated in the Best Original Screenplay category at several other film festivals. He also co-directed and wrote the high octane, action spy thriller O21[10] and is in production for his feature film, 'Shambhala', a mystical action adventure to be shot in India and Singapore and starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Pallavi Sharda, Akshay Kumar, Devika Bhise, Ashley Greene, Kabir Singh, Asheesh Kapur and Allan Wu. He will also direct Kiss Me Life,[11] an erotic thriller set against the French 1970's anti American movement that involves an affair between a young Indian student and his eccentric university professor.

Summer has also appeared in several feature films and TV Series though he prefers to remain unaccredited for his acting work.
