Sungai Jawi or Jawi is a big area and district capital of Province Wellesley, South Seberang Perai, Penang, Malaysia. It is located at the middle of the south Province Wellesley, Penang and just beside the North-South Expressway.
Here is also can be said that the 'Fengshui Town' and Little Taiwan town with its well-known villages. Jawi is a strategic place for the people of south Penang here. People here is called Sungai Jawi's short form Jawi only. People will not say Sungai Jawi here according to the expressway interchange.
