TAG Airlines was a small airline serving downtown Detroit, Michigan from about 1957 until 1970. Its tag line was "The World's Busiest Airline", and it served airports that were 5–15 minutes from the downtown areas, primarily between Detroit, Michigan, and Cleveland, Ohio. It flew de Havilland Dove surplus military aircraft.[1] The business closed not long after one of its planes crashed into frozen Lake Erie in January 1970, killing all nine people aboard. [2][3]
