Commission on Higher Education
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is a government commission that supervises institutions of higher learning. The CHED gives out appellations, certifies various titles signifying levels of quality, like Centers of Excellence or Centers of Development for qualified programs and Deregulated Status and the highest award which is Autonomous Status for qualified institutions of higher learning.
T.I.P. Manila and T.I.P. QC were identified by CHED as Centers of Excellence in Information Technology Education (ITE). ITE includes the programs: Computer Science, Information Systems, and Information Technology.
