Tej Sapru is a Bollywood and Television actor. He is the son of D. K. Sapru and Hemvati who were actor and actress in Hindi film industry. His sister Priti Sapru and Reema Rakesh Nath are also actresses of Hindi and Punjabi film industry. Some of Tej's films are Gupt: The Hidden Truth, Mohra, Sirf Tum and Saajan. He has acted in 194 films so far.[1] He is famous for his role in the television miniseries Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli and The Zee Horror Show.

Television career
Sapru has acted in several daily soaps like Qubool Hai, Saat Phere, Tumhari Pakhi, Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli and Palampur Express. Sapru is famous for his portrayal of Amatsya Rakshas in the Dangal TV/Imagine TV historical television series Chandragupta Maurya which depicts the life of great ancient Indian emperor Chandragupta Maurya. He also played role of Greek king Seleucus I Nicator in Colors TV serial Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.[3][4]
