The Pink Panther in: Olym-Pinks, is an animated sports-themed special which first aired on ABC on February 22, 1980 to coincide with the 1980 Winter Olympics. This was the final Pink Panther cartoon to be produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises. It is also the last Pink Panther produced by creator Friz Freleng before his departing from DFE to return to Warner Bros. Animation.

Plot

In Lake Placid, the cool cat and the little man are in a series of Winter Olympic games. After several comical mishaps including being chased by a piano that seemingly wants him dead and an upside-down chase through the snow after falling off a ski lift, in the end, the panther wins gold medal and the little man becomes second.

DVD release

On November 6, 2007, Olym-pinks was released alongside Pink at First Sight and A Pink Christmas on the DVD collection The Pink Panther: A Pink Christmas from MGM Home Entertainment/20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
