Valeriy Pidluzhnyy

Valeriy Vasylyovich Pidluzhnyy (Ukrainian: Підлужний Валерій Васильович) (born 22 August 1952 in Donetsk, Ukrainian SSR) is a retired long jumper who represented the USSR. He trained at Trudovye Rezervy in Donetsk. A three-time Olympian he won two silver medals at the European Indoor Championships as well as a gold medal at the 1974 European Championships in Athletics and a bronze medal at the 1980 Summer Olympics.
