New Programming

On February 1, 2015, Charlottesville-based public broadcaster WTJU began simulcasting it's programming on WHAN.[5] WTJU, owned by the University of Virginia, will operate the station as part of a three-year local marketing agreement.[6] WTJU will have the option to buy the WHAN and translator W275BQ in the future.[5] WTJU is in negotiations with Virginia Commonwealth University webcaster WVCW to broadcast on WHAN from 6pm to 1am daily.[7]

Translator

In addition to the main station, WHAN is relayed by an FM translator to widen its broadcast area.[8]
