The white-striped free-tailed bat (Tadarida australis) is a species of bat in the family Molossidae. It is found in all states of Australia except Tasmania, migrating to the north in winter.
Some taxonomists classify the species in the genus Austronomus, distinct from all other Tadarida species.[1]
