Career

A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Gallery was an Adjunct Professor of Color Photography at University of Pennsylvania from 2002–2005, when he took a leave of absence to pursue his award winning series, Remnants; After The Storm, which documented the aftermath of the tsunami in Sri Lanka and later Hurricane Katrina.[citation needed]

Wyatt has worked in Trinidad starring as the official photographer/judge in the reality TV show Synergy Super Model. He just completed the new ad campaign for the Trinidad Tourist Board (TDC) and continues to be commissioned by international magazines.[citation needed]

Awards

Wyatt was recognized as one of the top “30 photographers under 30” by Photo District News magazine[3] and as one of the “top 25 photographers under 25” by The Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University/powerHouse Books.[4]

Work

Wyatt’s photographs are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas and The George Eastman House.[citation needed]

Wyatt Gallery's forthcoming photography book, "Tent Life: Haiti" is being published by Umbrage Editions in April 2011.[5][6][7]

Controversy

In 2009, a sex tape leaked on the internet with Miss Universe 2008 and Project Runway Season 9 contestant Anya Ayoung-Chee, photographer Wyatt Gallery and an unidentified woman. Allegedly, the tape was stolen by a tech support specialist in Trinidad from Wyatt Gallery's laptop.[8]
