Yucca gloriosa var. tristis (syn. Yucca recurvifolia, Yucca gloriosa var. recurvifolia),[1] known as curve-leaf yucca,[2] curved-leaved Spanish-dagger[3] or pendulous yucca,[4] is a variety of Yucca gloriosa. It is often grown as an ornamental plant,[5][6] but is native to the southeastern United States.[7] In contrast to Y. gloriosa var. tristis, the leaves of Y. gloriosa var. gloriosa are hard stiff, erect and narrower.[citation needed]
