WJYZ (960 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Gospel format. Licensed to Albany, Georgia, USA, the station serves the Albany, GA area. The station is currently owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. and features programming from Westwood One and Premiere Radio Networks.[1]
History
The station went on the air as WGOP on 1987-02-06. On 1988-03-11, the station changed its call sign to WJIZ, and on 1988-12-22 to the current WJYZ,[2]
